| The Parish Church of St. Martin in Mogilno was erected in 1765, probably making use of elements of an earlier church which burnt down in the second half of the C16th. Inside the building we can marvel at the baroque carpentry details including portals with wavy lintels, the choir loft parapet and a gothic crucifix from around 1400. The polychrome decoration with figurative and ornamental motifs is the work of T. Terlecki in 1930. A late-gothic sculpture of The Risen Christ dates from the beginning of the C16th while the renaissance stone font is from the middle of the C16th. The church has retained C17th grave stones of the Rożen family. |
