| The Greek Catholic Church of the Dormition of the Mother of God in Andrzejówka (currently the Roman Catholic Church of the Assumption of the BMV) was probably erected in 1860-1864. It is a tripartite”,” log-construction building with shingled walls. The chancel is narrower than the nave”,” and has a sacristy attached. Beneath the spire there is a temple porch”,” an antechapel and a corridor. Inside you can see ornamental polychrome decoration from the turn of the C20th and an iconostasis with rococo features from the beginning of the C19th”,” in which the icons – with the exception of the Royal and Deacons’ Doors and the icon of the church’s dedication – were painted in 1874 by V. Zomph. |
