| The church of the Holy Spirit in Chronów was built in 1685. It has log frameworkconstruction and a single-ridge roof, shingled and bearing an ave-bell turret. The tower standing at the western wall of the nave was incorporated into the main trunk of the church during one of the repairs it has undergone. The nave is covered with a false barrel vault, while the side aisles with flat ceilings supported on pillars. The church interior is adorned with ornamental polychrome decoration (1930). The fittings are baroque and the main altarpiece with characteristic spiral columns features a Pentecost painting. The left altarpiece holds a miraculous image of the Virgin Mary with the Child. |
