The granary in Rajbrot
|
Rajbrot Local government: Lipnica Murowana |
The granary in the church-presbytery buildings next to the church in Rajbrot dates from the turn of the C19th and was rebuilt in the 1950s. It is a one-storey log-construction building covered by a gable roof. It was erected to a rectangular plan and set on “peckas”,stones performing the role of a primitive foundation. The single room within is covered by an open-beam ceiling. The floor was produced from planks placed on thick beams – joists. The deep plank door has one wing, held in place by belt strap hinges. |
