St. Ursula’s Parish Church in Gosprzydowa was erected in 1694 or 1697. Inside you can see false arched vaulting, while the walls and ceilings are adorned with figurative polychrome decoration from 1889. The main altar has two cult paintings of Our Lady of Gosprzydowa (one from the second half of the C16th, the other from around 1700). The altar finial has a painting of St. Ursula shielding her handmaidens with her dress. The baroque side altars date from the C17th and C18th. On the C15th gothic stone font you can see the Starykoń coat of arms and inverted lily ornament. The chapel contains a C20th altar of the Tomb of Our Lord. |
